Michael Messina has been a longtime friend of mine and Drew. He graduated with Drew from our high school in 2011 and is now going into his junior year at Keene State College, studying film.
Mike has had a passion for film, for as long as I’ve known him. He has taught me many tricks in film editing, and I have had the privilege of working on projects with him. He has a level head and works hard to make sure everything he puts together, whether its a simple music video or a thought provoking piece, is as well done as it needs to be. Mike does not tolerate sloppiness from himself or anyone he works with.
Mike has been working on a short film for the past year called The Stopwatch System. The film tells the story of a man who discovers a stopwatch with the ability to predict nearby deaths. Mike told me the rough outline of the story back in the day (which was a Wednesday); and I have been waiting for the finished product since.
Well now that finished project is here and I am excited to say that it exceeded my expectations. Mike has created a complex short film that leaves viewers impressed at what someone who is merely in college can accomplish. He shows true professionalism and has a bright future ahead of him, indeed.
Below will be an embedded copy of The Stopwatch System. Feel free to give it a view.
